Pay for your ceremony

Pay for your ceremony.

If you and Rev. Jonathan have already agreed on a date and a fee, you can pay it here. Payment is taken on Stripe's own secure page — card details are never entered on this website.

If you haven't talked to him yet, please don't pay here. There's nothing to pay until the two of you have agreed what you're marking and what it costs, and the inquiry form is where that starts.

Before you pay

Already agreed? Then this is the easy part.

The ceremony is agreed, the date is one you both picked, and the fee is settled. Paying here just settles the money — no form, no phone call, nothing to post.

What this page can't do is start something. If you're still working out what you want, or you haven't heard from Rev. Jonathan yet, send the inquiry form — it's free, and it's the honest way to begin. I typically answer every inquiry within 24 hours.

Worth saying plainly

  • Paying online is for people who have already agreed a date and a fee with Rev. Jonathan.
  • The deposit is what holds your date — once the two of you have settled on a date and a time, he confirms it with you and your deposit holds it. A payment made before that isn't a reservation, and this page can't hold anything by itself.
  • If you haven't talked to him yet, start with the free inquiry form. It takes about a minute, it costs nothing, and it's how every ceremony here begins.
  • If it's the $75 Ceremony Consultation you're paying for, that one has its own page — this page is for ceremonies.

When you pay

Half at booking. The balance two weeks before.

Here's the payment schedule in plain terms, so the money side holds no surprises.

At booking
Half of the ceremony fee is due at booking, and that payment is what holds your date.
Two weeks before the ceremony
The balance — the other half — is due two weeks before the ceremony.

For the three wedding packages:

The “I Do” — $162.50 · The Story — $237.50 · The Full Experience — $325

The half-up-front deposit applies to anything I quote, not just wedding packages. For a baptism, a memorial, a blessing, a release, a vow renewal or a custom ceremony, the deposit is half of the agreed fee, whatever that fee is, and the balance is due two weeks before the ceremony.

There are no refunds once a ceremony is booked.

Your $75 consultation fee is applied in full toward your booking deposit when you book a ceremony within 6 months of the consultation.

Both halves can be paid online — the deposit when you book, the balance when it falls due — or worked out with Rev. Jonathan directly if you'd rather do it another way.

What you can pay here

Pick the one you agreed on.

The three wedding packages are the published prices, exactly as they appear on the packages page, and each one shows the deposit that is half of it. Pay the deposit at booking, or pay the whole fee now if you'd rather have it settled — both are on Stripe's own hosted page, where the card details go. None are entered here.

  • The “I Do”

  • The Story

  • An amount we've agreed

    Deposit, balance or quoted fee

For a deposit that holds your date, a balance on a ceremony already booked, or the fee Rev. Jonathan quoted for a baptism, a memorial, a blessing, a release, a vow renewal or a custom ceremony.

The half-up-front deposit applies to anything I quote, not just wedding packages. For a baptism, a memorial, a blessing, a release, a vow renewal or a custom ceremony, the deposit is half of the agreed fee, whatever that fee is, and the balance is due two weeks before the ceremony.

You type the amount on Stripe's page — the link accepts $25 and up. Use the amount the two of you actually agreed, not an estimate.

Paying a deposit and a balance in two goes is completely normal: both come through this same link.

    Pay the amount we agreed

Payment is taken on Stripe's own secure page. Card details are never entered on this website, and no card is kept on file here.

Paying the $75 Ceremony Consultation? That has its own page.

Travel beyond the included service area, add-ons and anything else quoted separately are settled the same way, once they've been agreed with you in writing — the published travel and lodging policy covers how that's quoted.

After you pay

One more step, and then it's done.

Stripe takes the payment, shows you a confirmation and holds the record of it. This site can't read Stripe, so it can't tell Rev. Jonathan that you've paid — which is why the page you land on asks you to send the short inquiry form as well.

It isn't a receipt, either. Keep whatever Stripe showed you at the end.

Send it and mention what you've paid and which ceremony it's for — that's what tells him this payment has a ceremony attached to it. He confirms the date and time with you directly.

Helping people mark the moments that matter.

Paid — now it's just the details.

I typically answer every inquiry within 24 hours.

If anything about the amount, the deposit or what's still owed isn't clear, ask before you pay — a question is cheaper than a correction.
