Ceremony Consultation

Ceremony Consultation — $75 for 60 minutes, by video call or by phone.

For anyone who isn't sure what kind of ceremony they need yet — or whether the thing they have in mind is even possible.

Maybe you know something needs to be marked and you can't name it yet. Maybe you know exactly what you want and you want to hear whether it's doable. Both are good reasons to book this.

You bring the story. I'll help you tell it.

Austin • Central Texas • Texas Hill Country

A conversation, not a commitment.

Sometimes you know a moment deserves to be marked, but you don't know exactly what that should look like.

That's what the consultation is for.

We'll spend 60 minutes talking through your story, what you're celebrating, honoring, releasing, beginning, or remembering—and figure out what kind of ceremony might fit.

One honest quirk of the setup: paying doesn't send Rev. Jonathan anything about you. It's worth doing both — pay for the hour, and send the inquiry form so he already knows what you're planning when he writes back.

Worth saying plainly

  • It isn't a commitment. If you finish the hour and decide to wait, to do it yourselves, or to hire someone else, that's a real outcome and you can say so out loud.
  • It doesn't hold a date. Nothing is reserved until you and Rev. Jonathan have agreed on one.
  • You don't need a plan, a venue, a date or even a clear idea. "Something needs to happen and I don't know what" is a perfectly good place to start.
  • It's 60 minutes, by video call or by phone — you don't have to be in Austin to have it.
  • If what you're describing isn't something Rev. Jonathan can do well, you'll hear that in the hour, along with what he'd look for instead.

What happens

Sixty minutes, step by step.

  1. You pay $75.

Payment happens on Stripe's own secure page — card details are never entered on this website. Stripe shows you a confirmation when it goes through, and it holds the payment record.
  2. Rev. Jonathan emails you to find a time.

Within one business day, you'll get an email so the two of you can settle on 60 minutes that works.
  3. You talk for 60 minutes.

Your story, what you're celebrating, honoring, releasing, beginning or remembering, and what kind of ceremony might fit it.
  4. You leave with a plan.

What the ceremony could look like, what it would involve, and a straight answer on what it would cost. If the honest answer is that it isn't a fit, that's what you'll hear.

We'll discuss:

  • Your story and what brought you here
  • What you want the ceremony to represent
  • The people who should be involved
  • The tone and atmosphere you want
  • Spiritual, religious, or secular elements
  • Location and logistics
  • Ceremony structure and meaningful traditions
  • What happens next

That list isn't a questionnaire — it's just what usually comes up. You don't need answers ready for any of it.

Nothing about the consultation reserves a date, and booking a ceremony afterwards is a separate conversation — how it works and what things cost are both worth a look before you decide.

Two ways in

Pay for the hour, or ask first.

Both are open, and neither one is the "right" answer. If the conversation is what you need, book it. If you'd rather find out whether it's the right fit first, ask — that costs nothing.

Pay and book it

Ceremony Consultation — $75 · 60 minutes • Virtual or phone

That's the whole price. It doesn't change based on what you bring to the conversation, and there's nothing else to buy.

It's a fixed fee, not a deposit: it isn't refundable once you've had the consultation, but if you book a ceremony within 30 days it comes off the ceremony fee in full.

Payment is taken on Stripe's own secure page. Card details are never entered on this website.

Free, as always

Not ready to pay? Start with the form.

Tell me what you're planning and I'll point you the right way — no charge for that, and no obligation. It's the same route anyone can use, and it stays open whether or not you ever book anything.

If a paid hour isn't what you need, I'd rather say so now than take your money for it.

The inquiry form asks what you're planning, when, and where — a minute of typing, and Rev. Jonathan answers it himself.

The $75 credit

If you book a ceremony, the $75 comes off.

Here's the whole policy, in plain terms — what you pay, what it covers, and what it doesn't.

Your $75 consultation fee is credited in full toward Rev. Jonathan Arnold's ceremony/service fee when you book a ceremony within 30 days of the consultation.

The consultation credit applies only to Rev. Jonathan Arnold's ceremony/service fee. It does not apply to travel fees, rush or last-minute fees, venue fees, permits, third-party services, or other additional expenses.

The consultation fee is non-refundable once the consultation has taken place. If you decide not to book a ceremony, there is no additional obligation.

Questions about any of that are welcome before you pay rather than after — bluskeyz@gmail.com.

Ceremony Consultation

Sixty minutes, and the thing gets clearer.

You bring the story. I'll help you tell it.

Meaningful doesn't have to mean stiff — and figuring out what you need is allowed to take a conversation.
